Memorial De Caen Museum

By Richard Pisani

American Garden at the Memorial De Caen Museum

We had a wonderful experience today at the Memorial De Caen Museum. The museum was very interesting and informative. The museum had several artifacts from both wars and even a piece of the Berlin Wall. There were several different galleries and even a movie about Normandy. Thanks to the Memorial De Caen Museum, we all have a better understanding of both World War I and World War II and a better understanding of the battle that occurred at Normandy Beach. Thank you so much.

  1. Hi, Richard! This visit seems like it would have been very interesting. The picture of the reflection pool in the garden is especially beautiful, and I can only imagine what it must have looked like in person.

  3. Hello Richard. It seems like this trip was very successful is showing students what it was really like in the world wars and I'm sure it was much more interesting than reading about it in a book.

  4. Hello Richard, I personally love museums and this one in particular seems like something right up my alley. The pictures really caught my eye as well, definitely somewhere I could see myself touring!
